Description: 

The Business Development Manager is the expert on envisioning new opportunities for Xtend and driving those opportunities to become a reality.  This individual would be not only a project coordinator who is responsible for working with other Xtend leaders to identify product expansion opportunities, completing the specification research, and making recommendations to the Xtend President, but also manage the Business Support Representative team on a daily basis.  This individual will participate in strategic planning meetings with the Xtend President, as well as ongoing product evaluation and implementation of new products and services.

Duties: 
  1. Develop solid knowledge of bookkeeping, mortgage servicing, compliance monitoring, and call center business units.
  2. Perform the research on potential a la carte service offerings.
  3. Develop the statement of work processes for new service offerings.
  4. Participate in the development of the budget for the new service with recommended pricing strategy.
  5. Participate with the Xtend Product Development Team as they consider, test, and implement new functionality pertaining to Xtend services.
  6. Submit project sheets for enhancements involving CU*BASE and Xtend services.
  7. Develop implementation plan for bringing new products to market
  8. Work with management team to develop boarding process for new services.
  9. Take responsibility for increasing job knowledge, familiarity with credit union operations and training, and problem solving skills.
  10. Provide a written summary report for inclusion in the Xtend Board Report.
  11. Recommend education requirements for team leaders based on new product and service deployment.
  12. Maintain a positive contribution as a member of the Xtend leadership team and complete all tasks assigned by management to meet overall company objectives.
Qualifications: 
  1. High School graduate or equivalent is required.
  2. Two-year degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience is required.
  3. Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  4. Minimum of five years experience supporting the financial services industry.
  5. Experience with CU*BASE hardware and software preferred.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  7. Ability to travel periodically to client locations for 1-2 days periods.
  8. Ability to use discretion when dealing with sensitive or confidential data.
